How To Play HWO
Horse World Online is a complex game and simulation where
you can own, train, show, and breed your own horses as well as much more.
Here are a few game-playing tips that will have you succeed on Horse World
Online.
* You start the
game with $10,000. Be careful how you spend it as you can run out quick!
How much money you have left can be seen in the upper right-hand corner
of your computer screen. You can view transactions if you go to the Bank.
* There is NO
allowance on the game. You can make money by selling horses and
other items. In the future you will be able to work at a job such as being
a stable hand.
* You can get your
first horse by either importing one, or buying one that is for sale in
the horse search.
* You can purchase
feed at the Feed Mill, Books at the Book Store, and Tack at the General
Store.
* To put a horse
up for sale, you will need to enter an amount you want for it and check
off the box that says this horse is for sale. You can also select allow
bids if you are willing to let players bid on the horse instead of buy
it for the price you have it for sale at. This is found on your horse’s
page. Once you have entered the necessary information, click save or update
horse. This will put your horse up for sale.
* IMPORTANT!!!
– You have a limited amount of hours to do “work” in
your stable – training your horses etc. You can basically do work
from 7am till 7pm on the game. You also have limited amount of days each
Real Life day on HWO to use those hours to do work. When you run out of
hours in a day, you will need to click on the Sleeping Sun to advance
to the next day to be able to have more hours. THIS DOES NOT MAKE YOUR
HORSE OLDER. You start out with 10 days and then when you run out, you
will get another day every half-hour real-time that goes by. You can also
get more hours in a day by hiring stable help - a feature to be added
later.
* In order to breed
a new breed, you will need to actually own the book for the breed you
are breeding for. This is a requirement programmed into the game.
* Horses MUST
be trained for the event a Show is running in order to be able to enter.
